Mobile Support provides technology and services that meet the on-demand learning needs of field-based personnel. Led by seasoned executives with extensive experience in the e-Learning, streaming media, and wireless marketplaces, the company is currently in the development phase, and plans to begin field-testing its products with pilot customers in the third quarter of 2002.

Sugarshots, Inc.
Sugarshots competes in the $1 Billion coffee and tea sweetening market segment. The company has developed a line of 100% natural liquid sugar products, and is looking to establish a dominant brand as well as accelerate the market adoption of liquid sugar as a preferred sweetener to traditional crystalline sugar. The Sugarshots product delivers instant and uniformed sweetening even in iced beverages (no more sugar collecting at the bottom of the glass). The product is so efficient at sweetening, that 25% less cane sugar is required per serving. Thus, 25% fewer calories are needed to get a packet equivalent of sweetening per shot. Sugarshots's co-founders spoke to other proprietary benefits of their products and presented product samples at the Angel Law Forum, together with further information about the company.

PatentCafe, Inc.
PatentCafe® is a provider of web-distributed global patent and trademark data, and search and analysis software for enterprise and professional members of the intellectual property community. IPSearchengine, its Intellectual Property and Asset Management (IPAM) solution incorporates modular tools to support cross functional areas within an enterprise, and includes patent search, trending and reporting, legal docketing, patent valuation tools, time and expense recording, knowledge management, and centralized reporting features. PatentCafe's founder and president, along with key staff attended to discuss its business plans and its second round financing opportunity.

X5 Microsystems, Inc.
X5 Microsystems is engaged in the development and marketing of semiconductor solutions for data storage, networking and communications, focused primarily on the consumer data storage marketplace. Computer and electronics manufacturers recently adopted a standard, known as Serial ATA, for an improved mechanism for transporting data from storage media, such as hard disk and DVD drives, to the system processors that translate the data into viewable images. Serial ATA promises to be the next generation transport mechanism, with at least one Serial ATA interface required in each hard disk, CD-ROM and DVD drive, and each other storage peripheral connected to a PC. X5 has developed a Serial ATA solution, and is pursuing opportunities to manufacture and market its technology. The company's founder discussed the company's strategic plan.

Sítoa Corporation
Sítoa is a privately held, Oakland, California based company that provides software, services and marketing programs that help vendors and retailers create and exploit low cost, low risk, web-based sales channels. With Sitoa's software, services and programs retailers can sell a large number of SKU's (stock keeping units) directly to their customers using their own on-line storefront. The products are supplied to the customer directly out of the vendor's inventory. A retailer can implement this capability in conjunction with in-store kiosks, his own credit structure and returns at point-of-sale (POS), using low cost, easy to install software that plugs into any infrastructure. The result is nearly risk free incremental revenue and a much wider assortment of product for the vendor to sell to the retailer's customer base. Sitoa's principals were on hand to discuss the company's strategic plan and business strategy.

D.J. Allen & Associates
DJAllen provides network management and security solutions for infrastructure management through its consulting services and proprietary software products. The company's team of professionals manage all phases of information technology projects from inception, design, implementation to deployment. Through its vast experience in network consulting, the company has created a proprietary software to streamline inventory and license tracking, as well as gather security information for network administrators.

Aztec Wireless Technologies, Inc.
AztecWT provides technology-based solutions that enhance live sporting events by delivering individualized rich-media information and entertainment to fans of professional and college sports teams. AztecWT provides a branded color handheld device called the MiniTron, user applications, optimized wireless communication broadcast protocols, and content aggregation servers. Though optimized for broadcast data distribution, the wireless network also has a small back-channel to allow users to interact with fan ballots, fantasy games, trivia games, place concession orders, and buy merchandise. The back-channel also provides device usage data for advertisers. AztecWT's President demonstrated the product and addressed the company's marketing strategy and fundraising needs.

Decorations for Generations, Inc.
Decorations for Generations is a manufacturer and distributor of various seasonal and lawn and garden products. Already known in the industry for its innovative and sturdy Christmas tree stands, Decorations for Generations is seeking to expand its lawn and garden products business. Recently, the company has developed a series of tree staking products based on its proprietary technology that significantly improves the viability of newly planted trees, thus minimizing costly losses to landscaping industry professionals and weekend gardeners alike. The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) has established the company's products as the benchmark for quality in its own landscaping projects, specifying in its regulatory guidelines that "steel stakes shall be the Reddy Stake System manufactured by Decorations for Generations, Inc. or equal." The Company is excited to bring to the consumer its new lines of innovative lawn and garden products.
